New Trainees for 2007

We are pleased to announce that due to continuing growth in several of our departments we have recently been joined by three new members of staff which should ensure that you continue to receive the best possible level of service.

Brooks and Partners is a firm accredited by the Law Society as a training provider and it takes its role in training very seriously. Michael Brooks is committed to providing the highest possible standard of training and prides himself on the number of trainees that choose to remain with the firm once they have qualified.

Carrie Stack and Lauren Jackson have done extremely well to secure much-coveted training contracts with Brooks and Partners from January 2007. For the next two years, they will follow a detailed programme that covers legal, business and technology skills, under the close supervision of Michael Brooks. Carrie will spend an initial 6 months in the commercial department whilst Lauren will get a chance to hone her litigation skills and learn more about family law.

Carrie graduated from Sheffield Hallum University in 2005 with an LLB degree and Lauren graduated from Portsmouth University in 2004 with a BSc Criminology and Criminal Justice before attending the College of Law in Guildford.

Carrie finds the gym, a perfect way to unwind at the end of a hectic day and assures that it increases the stamina she needs to pursue her other interests of retail therapy and looking after her two young nieces.

Lauren has always loved dancing and regularly attends Street Dance, Tap and Ballet classes but also teaches a range of classes and ages at a local dance school. Lauren has always wanted to pursue a career in Law and is delighted to work for a family run firm that provides good service and actively supports the local community with which she has strong ties.

Carrie and Lauren start their training contracts with Brooks and Partners in January 2007 and hope to remain with the firm when they qualify.
