Many people are familiar with racial or sexual discrimination
but in the eyes of the law, discrimination may be for any reason
which is seen to set you apart from others, for example:
- Sexuality
- Disability
- Different working hour requirements
- Age
- Physical appearance
- Religion or beliefs.
Your employer, by law, should not allow discrimination to
take place. If it does an employment tribunal can require the employer
to correct the situation and may also award compensation.
