Vickie became the Office
Manager at Brooks three years ago and has enjoyed the challenge especially
as this was a new role within the firm. Vickie offers support to all the
firms departments, the general running of the office (and the IT), and
supporting Michael Brooks in a PA capacity. Most people are surprised to
learn that, as a woman, Vickie not only qualified as a referee but actually
understands the off side rule! She genuinely enjoys most sports (she did not
feel she had much choice with a husband and two sons) but football, rugby
and tennis are definitely top of her list! Vickie’s two football teams are
Bristol City (where she originally hails from) and Liverpool.
When asked about
memorable moments in her life she replied “Sitting on the battlefields at
Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift in KwaZulu Natal with my family listening to
lectures about the Anglo Zulu war and completing my first parachute jump!” |
