Appeals - Medical Evidence

The Employment Appeal Tribunal has refused to allow an appeal by an employee who submitted his appeal 1 hour after the 4pm deadline because the file submitted electronically was too big to be accepted by the EAT.

He argued that the time limit should be extended due to his depression. However, this was rejected by the EAT as he had not provided medical evidence that was specific to him but instead relied on general information about depression.
