Tesco Face £4bn Equal Pay Claim

Tesco is facing what is believed to be the largest ever equal pay claim, potentially valued at £4bn, in the face of allegations that it paid predominantly male distribution workers £11 per hour more than predominantly female store workers for doing work of equal value. The claim potentially affects 200,000 workers. The dispute has been submitted to ACAS.
