Kate joined the Brooks & Partners Employment Department in September 2010. Prior to that, she worked for two years as a Solicitor in a niche firm that specialises only in employment law. Kate qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 with law as a second career. She previously worked for the NHS in roles that included complaints and legal claims handling for a large hospital trust gaining the qualification of Member of the Institute of Health Care Managers. She started working in law firms in 2000 whilst studying for her legal qualifications part time.
Kate’s interests include gardening, singing and dancing! She sings with a female Barbershop Chorus and takes part in competitions around the country. She also takes time to dance both Lindy Hop and Jive.
Kate is a Member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Her and her team are very dedicated in their approach to employment law and are always looking for ways to assist clients to understand the rights and obligations in an area that is often complex.
