Laura joined Brooks & Partners in December 2017 as Legal Secretary/PA to the Family Department.
Having graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2017 with a BA Law and European Studies Degree, Laura is currently topping up her qualifications with CILEX in order to be able to do the Legal Practice Course in the future.
Laura hopes to train and qualify as a solicitor in a couple of years’ time and meantime is working in the family department to further develop her knowledge and experience in this area of law.
Laura previously worked for a specialist property law firm (repossessions, evictions and Landlord and Tenant law), as well as working for a Consultant solicitor for a London law firm with experience as a Paralegal and Personal Assistant in conveyancing, corporate law and employment law. She has also had experience as a barrister’s clerk at the Old Bailey.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her partner and his young son. She also likes to visit the gym, as well as going running and horse-riding. Laura loves living in the countryside and particularly likes to go on country walks and bike rides around the lakes in the oldest oak forests in Hampshire.
