Sickness Absence at Lowest Level

The Office for National Statistics has found that 4.3 days sick leave per worker (due to sickness or physical injury) were recorded in 2016 which is the lowest level since records began in 1993 (when average sick days per worker were at 7.2 days).

Wales and Scotland had the highest incidences of sickness absence with 2.6% respectively. London had the lowest with 1.4%.
